Lady-Date

Despite all my money issues, i went out on a lady-date with one of the girls from work (it was only a dollah covah!)

Sherlocks again <3!  Had a serious blast until who she called the “Alabama Slammah” came over to creep on us.

Some dude from alabama came up here to turn his life around, told us about his wife and her 6 other kids, and how hes an alcoholic.  Neat.  When he started to get racist on us we scooted on out of there.  Nuggs and then home.

I went with a friend today while she got a tattoo.  Kicker is that -I- designed it for her!  It was so incredibly flattering and just unbelievable.  The guy that did all mine did it for her, and it came out awesome. <33333

Ive been thinking about vlogging for a while.  I have a fairly nice camera, and i can edit just fine, but i need a gimmick!

I was thinking last night, as i was reading Catcher in the Rye in the bathtub, how about a bathtub vlog?  I could talk about stuff in the bathtub!  Wearing a bathing suit of course

2 days.

Thats all the time i have left here in my little bach pad.  Despite all my complaining about not having a kitchen, my pothead neighbors, the distance from fun, not getting mail, not having space, the constant 90 degree temp, i really really loved it here.

Heres where i ‘grew up’ and paid all my own bills.  It was all mine to myself, and im both sad and excited to be moving.  I was starting to grow stagnant here, and i needed a change.

Im beginning to believe that it is my coworkers mission in life to make MY life as miserable as possible.  For example, not cleaning up your section so that the third shifter (me) will ‘have something to do,’ or a manager making me split a tip 3 ways with him and the cook when they are both getting paid nine dollars an hour and im getting 2.83.

Yea, im job shopping, in this market.

Im grateful i even have a job, dont get me wrong, but im not going to stand around and be somebodies shitcan for less that $3 an hour.

Also, I dont understand why guys dig the ‘hard to get’ game.  It seems that if im not showing any interest, he is, but the second i let on that its mutual, all of a sudden there are a million excuses.  Whatev.

Slow Progress?

I hope to be all moved out by the end of the week.  I went and bought the blue paint for my room today

Ive always liked Painting and doing home repairs and stuff.

Erie Pagans/Witches Moot is tomorrow, I’m happy.  I havent seen my witches in a while.

Ive always wanted to open up a Cafe/coffeeshop/artsy type place.  If you remember Moonsense you know what im talking about.  On the other hand, Ive also wanted to own a Bar.

Im definitely in the wrong field of study right now!

Im happy today because

• Someone wiping the hard drive of the computer that had my WHOLE film project on it….but then i found the file saved on another computer <3  ReRender!
• People NEVER texting me back, but its ok cuz i do the same.
• Packing more stuff!  Picked colors for dads house!
• SPRING BREAK WOO
• My mommy bought me clean socks so i can (yet again) put off doing laundry.
• I have to start going to the laundromat again because my dad doesn’t have a dryer.
• Fancy Art-Party tomorrow.  Molly Brannigans.  Guinness.
• Working on new jewelry for the mums day salllleeee

Ill admit, some things got me down today, like having to work 3rd tonight, have to work EVERY saturday night and never getting to see the few friends i have left, being ignored (its probably my biggest pet peeve ever.)

Why I smiled today:

• I got my film finished, and i dont completely hate it!
• I had a delicious seafood sub from subway <3
• My mommy bought me SOCKS for my birthday! (which means i can put off laundry a tad longer.)

Purpose

I have decided to start this blog in an effort to turn certain things in my life around.

Every day, I am going to post about something thats made me happy, and why, be it a tiny little thing or something big.  I’ve noticed that I tend to dwell on the negative things, and when I do that, I turn into a giant bag of sullen mush that lays around eating french fries and sulking.  No more of that! (Of course I will still vent.)

I am currently in the process of packing up all my shit, and moving back into Erie, after being stuck out here in the boonies for so long.  My mom relocated us from the middle of the city to a BFE trailer park in Waterford in 1998.  We have moved around the area, but stayed here for the most part.  I moved out on my own in July 05, right after I graduated high school…into an apartment in Waterford.  Then i moved to Edinboro, back to Waterford, Edinboro, and I’m in Waterford again. Hopefully for the last time.  Ever.

The best year I had in high school was probably in 02, where I spent the second half of 9th, and the first half of 10th living in the city with my dad.  I used to walk around down town and just wish I was old enough to enjoy it!

Well, I’m sacrificing a tad of independence and moving home with the patriarch.  It’ll save me money (though I will still be paying my rent whether he likes it or not,) and I’ll be back in city-girl mode.  Whee!

What made me happy today.

• My film prof extended my deadline til thursday, giving me more time to finish my…um…film.
• My painting prof is letting us work on our sustained painting for another day, which is awesome because I missed the last THREE classes.
